Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 14: "The Conscience of the King"

Okay, so some guy out in space acting in Shakespeare plays might be a mass murderer long ago and has changed his identity to hide his secret. And his daughter is helping this killer so that nobody finds out. There.

The good part. Some decent hotties in this one.

Actress Natalie Norwick (1923-2007) played Martha Leighton, the wife of Doctor Thomas Leighton. Doctor Leighton is the one who suspects that the Shakespearean actor, Anton Karidian, is Kodos the Executioner.

Actress Barbara Anderson played Lenore Karidian, the mass killer's daughter. Barbara Anderson was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1945. At the time of this blog post she is 68 years old.

It may be of interest to note that this was the final episode in which Yeoman Janice Rand appears.

Story is mostly flashbacks to Star Trek's pilot episode, The Cage. Can never get tired of looking at Vina. What a babe!

Spock appears to have lost his mind, disobeys orders, and is being Court-Martialed for trying to help his former Enterprise captain, Capt. Pike, who doesn't want Spock's help. Long story. More about Julie Parrish...

 

She was born in 1940 in Kentucky, making her 26 when The Menagerie aired in 1966. Like Marianna Hill (mentioned in Star Trek Episode 10, "Dagger of the Mind"), Julie Parrish was also one of Elvis Presley's girls in the movie "Paradise, Hawaiian Style", also filmed in 1966. During her later years she spent time working for a battered women's shelter. Julie died from ovarian cancer complications in 2003 at age 62.

 

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 11: "The Corbomite Maneuver"

The Enterprise encounters some thing that looks like a Rubik's Cube floating around in space blocking their path. Most of the episode was spent staring at and trying to get around that stupid space cube, leaving little time for any Star Trek beauties. When Capt. Kirk finally meets the alien operating the cube and causing havoc to the Enterprise, it turned out to be a creature that looks like a 5-year-old boy, who was just "trying to have fun". Aren't we all?

 

Uhura making a move on Spock? And he's not ready for it. Vulcan doesn't know what he's missing.
