In "The City on the Edge of Forever" the USS Enterprise ends up traveling back in time about 200 years to the 1930s period in New York City. Spock lends a hand trying to repair a mess made by altering history, which led to the USS Enterprise in the future NEVER EXISTING! Capt. Kirk meets a woman named Edith Keeler (Joan Collins), who runs a Great Depression era soup kitchen and, of course, they fall in love.

She married 5 times, her current husband Percy Gibson in 2002. Joan has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She maintains residences in New York City and Europe. At the time of this writing she is 83 years old.
