Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 18: "The Squire of Gothos"

In The Squire of Gothos, several members of The Enterprise crew are kidnapped by a childish ruler on an alien planet who calls himself General Trelane. The guest Star Trek beauty in this episode is the blonde bombshell Venita Wolf, playing the role of Yeoman Teresa Ross.

Yeoman Teresa Ross (actress Venita Wolf) and Uhura arrive on Gothos, where alien General Trelane hints at wanting the two young ladies to make a sandwich out of him.

Seems the Capt. wants to go at it himself

Here he gets lucky with a bird's eye view

More about Venita Wolf...

She was born in 1943 (making her 24 years old at the time The Squire of Gothos aired.) This Star Trek episode is what she is best known for in her acting career. She had very brief guest roles in other television programs during the 1960s and appeared in the beach movie Catalina Caper. She was mostly a model and contestant in beauty contests and appeared on the cover of Playboy in 1967 (see below; note: she did not appear nude in the issue, unfortunately). She retired from acting after her marriage in 1968.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 17: "The Galileo Seven"

In The Galileo Seven, a crew from The Enterprise boards the shuttlecraft Galileo to investigate some weird formation in space and once again get themselves in a whole lot of trouble. The good part is that there was one guest beauty in this episode that made the rocky voyage worth while; Yeoman Mears, played by actress Phyllis Hodges Boyce (mostly known as Phyllis Douglas).

Uhura's red undies showing...again

Yeoman Mears. Actress Phyllis Douglas.

Scotty, you're looking the wrong way!

Spock: "What's that out there? Moving in closer."
Crew Member in Back Seat: "What's that on the floor? Moving in closer."

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 16: "Shore Leave"

Shore Leave was the last episode to air in 1966. Captain Kirk has the Enterprise ship halt above a planet where the crew will take shore leave (another way of saying R&R). Only problem is that whatever a person is thinking about while on the strange planet suddenly becomes reality.

So why was Dr. McCoy having thoughts about Alice in Wonderland? hmmm, I'd rather not delve into that one, but yes, little Alice shows up and the Doc freaks out.

Capt. Kirk has his eyes on the next target: Yeoman Tonia Barrows, played by actress Emily Banks.

Yeah, he's considering it.

Doc, thank God you saved me. This Captain is an animal!

But wait. Now the captain has thoughts about an old girlfriend. Ruth, played by actress Shirley Bonne.

Yeoman Barrows: I found the prettiest dress. I'm going to change right here. Don't look.

I told you not to look. You couldn't at least wait until I get my top on?

Okay, Doc, remember you have a reputation to think about. (Alice played by actress Marcia Brown)

The Doc's thoughts change. Now that's more like it Doctor. You need to stop thinking about little girls.

About Emily Banks (Yeoman Tonia Barrows)...
She was born on January 23, 1933 in Virginia, making her 33 years old when Shore Leave aired. She appeared mostly in one episode guest roles on television from 1966 until 1986. She also had some small roles in film, including a role as an office receptionist in Live a Little, Love a Little (1968) starring Elvis Presley.

About Shirley Bonne (Ruth)...
She was born in 1934 in California. In the 1950s she was the cover girl of various magazine publications and also helped promote the unveiling of Chevrolet's new Corvair. In 1962 she married Ronald Herbert Freemond and had a daughter they named Jayne. Today she is 80 years old and lives in California.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 15: "Balance of Terror"

This is the episode that introduces the Romulans, whom attack The Enterprise and cause people to be killed and women to scatter all over the floor. Not much babe activity in this episode, but a few nice booty shots of Uhura made it all worth it.

Lt. Angela Martine played by actress Barbara Baldavin. Ship under Romulan attack.

Lt. Angela Martine was supposed to marry in this episode, but fiancé was killed.
Looks like somebody else will have to get...what you see in the next picture.

Lt. Angela Martine helped up...and displaying her camel toe under the Enterprise crew attire.

Ah, Uhura some booty.

Ahh, Uhura some mo' booty.

More about Barbara Baldavin who played Lt. Angela Martine...

Barbara was born in 1938 in Quincy, Massachusetts. She appeared in several Star Trek episodes during the 1960s aside from Balance of Terror (Shore Leave and Space Seed). She also appeared in Dynasty (1981), Trapper John, M.D. (1979), and Matt Houston (1982). Barbara was 28 when Balance of Terror aired. At the time of this post she is 75 years old and still active in the entertainment business.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 14: "The Conscience of the King"

Okay, so some guy out in space acting in Shakespeare plays might be a mass murderer long ago and has changed his identity to hide his secret. And his daughter is helping this killer so that nobody finds out. There.

The good part. Some decent hotties in this one.

Actress Natalie Norwick (1923-2007) played Martha Leighton, the wife of Doctor Thomas Leighton. Doctor Leighton is the one who suspects that the Shakespearean actor, Anton Karidian, is Kodos the Executioner.

Actress Barbara Anderson played Lenore Karidian, the mass killer's daughter. Barbara Anderson was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1945. At the time of this blog post she is 68 years old.

It may be of interest to note that this was the final episode in which Yeoman Janice Rand appears.

Lenore Karidian (actress Barbara Anderson). Amazing eyes!

Captain Kirk with Lenore. Where is his hand going?

Lenore with a mini fur coat and sparkly stockings. Obviously has the Captain turned on.

Lenore and Yeoman Rand; competition for the Captain is on.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 13: "The Menagerie, Part 2"

Story is mostly flashbacks to Star Trek's pilot episode, The Cage. Can never get tired of looking at Vina. What a babe!

For more info on Susan Oliver, who played Vina, scroll down to First Star Trek Babe: Vina! (Season 1, Ep. 1 "The Cage") or click HERE

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 12: "The Menagerie, Part 1"

Spock appears to have lost his mind, disobeys orders, and is being Court-Martialed for trying to help his former Enterprise captain, Capt. Pike, who doesn't want Spock's help. Long story. Wanna know more? See the episode or read Wiki. Good thing is there were some nice shots of beauties in this episode. Have a look.

Lt. Piper (actress Julie Parrish). I wonder if 300 years in the future, when Star Trek (TOS) takes place, women will be using 1960s hairstyles?

Here is Lt. Piper again. Too bad the table blocks the view.

Ah, luckily nothing blocking our view here.

Or Spock's, who gets an eye-full when he walks in the room. (Crew member not named).

More about Julie Parrish...

She was born in 1940 in Kentucky, making her 26 when The Menagerie aired in 1966. Like Marianna Hill (mentioned in Star Trek Episode 10, "Dagger of the Mind"), Julie Parrish was also one of Elvis Presley's girls in the movie "Paradise, Hawaiian Style", also filmed in 1966. During her later years she spent time working for a battered women's shelter. Julie died from ovarian cancer complications in 2003 at age 62.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 11: "The Corbomite Maneuver"

The Enterprise encounters some thing that looks like a Rubik's Cube floating around in space blocking their path. Most of the episode was spent staring at and trying to get around that stupid space cube, leaving little time for any Star Trek beauties. When Capt. Kirk finally meets the alien operating the cube and causing havoc to the Enterprise, it turned out to be a creature that looks like a 5-year-old boy, who was just "trying to have fun". Aren't we all?

Uhura making a move on Spock? And he's not ready for it. Vulcan doesn't know what he's missing.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 10: "Dagger of the Mind"

What Star Trek lacked in the previous episode they made up with Dagger of the Mind, which featured psychiatrist Dr Helen Noel (actress Marianna Hill). Captain Kirk and Dr. Noel beam down together to Tantalus V, a rehabilitation facility for the criminally insane. And it was on Tantalus V that we get some nice shots of the doctor. See pics and try not to go insane.

Dr Helen Noel, actress Marianna Hill - Nice dimple.

Helen Noel and Captain Kirk beam down to Tantalus V.

Just another nice shot.

Looks like Captain Kirk and the doctor are going to have some fun.
Damn, he gets all the women!

I don't know what that is under the doctor's uniform, but it got buried pretty deep, didn't it?

About Marianna Hill...

Marianna was born in 1942 (as Mariana Schwarzkopf) in California. She was Elvis Presley's Hawaiian girl in the movie Paradise, Hawaiian Style, filmed in 1966, the same year Dagger of the Mind aired. She was also Deanna Dunn-Corleone in The Godfather Part II. Marianna now lives near London, England and is still active in the entertainment business.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 9: "Miri"

The Star Trek episode Miri had almost nothing to offer as far as showcasing some hotties. I found one decent shot of Yeoman Rand when a breeze sends her skirt flying up (ah, memories of Marilyn Monroe). They arrive on a planet that resembles Earth during the 1960s (that must have been simple to set up, since it was filmed in 1966). But the planet appeared abandoned, and there was a disease that made teenagers turn really old, really fast, and die once they hit puberty. I know a lot of us are fed up with teens, but this isn't the way to do it. A young girl named Miri happened to be one of the pubescents on the planet.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 8: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"

What are Little Girls Made of had one fine babe called Andrea (played by Sherry Jackson). Andrea was an android created by Dr. Roger Korby, who happened to be Nurse Christine Chapel's long lost fiancé, but has since resorted to scientific evil-doings. I'm not so sure, however, that creating Andrea was a bad thing; you see, she's one of those androids made for the sole purpose of satisfying a man's every whim and desire. What man wouldn't want one of those? That's what I'm talkin' about! Most women draw the line somewhere; but not this one!

Before beaming down with Capt. Kirk to Exo III, the home planet of Dr. Roger Korby, Nurse Chapel and Uhura experience what appears to be an intimate moment. I guess anything goes on The Enterprise. Who's complaining?

Okay, Andrea, I know right now what my first three wishes are.

Looks like she's got her eyes on the Capt. Lucky bastard.

Andrea and Nurse Chapel face off.

C'mon now; there must have been about 100 people on the set when this scene was filmed and nobody noticed that Captain Kirk is holding a huge dildo? Well, that's what it looks like. And he's planning on whacking some big android dude called "Ruk" with it. Ruk, by the way, was played by Ted Cassidy, who most remember as Lurch on The Addams Family.

About Sherry Jackson...

She was born in Idaho in 1942, making her 24 when What Are Little Girls Made Of? was filmed. She began her career as a child actress. A year after doing the Star Trek android role, Sherry Jackson appeared nude in a film called Gunn, and stills of her from that movie were published in Playboy's August, 1967 issue. Gunn was never released on VHS or DVD, so good luck finding it. A copy of the Playboy magazine might be found on eBay or other site; shoot some pics my way if you get a hold of it. At the time of this writing, Sherry Jackson is 72 years old.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 7: "Mudd's Women"

Talk about some hotties. In "Mudd's Women", a cargo ship transporter named Harcourt Fenton Mudd is selling his cargo of women as wives; for a price, of course. Any takers?

Mudd's Women - Eve (actress Karen Steele), Ruth (Maggie Thrett),
and Magda (Susan Denberg)

Hell yeah, permission to come aboard granted!

Ruth

Magda. Whoa! Almost a wardrobe slip here.
Actually, you can see all of her--without the wardrobe--below.

Some early Season 1 episodes had Uhura in green.

A little about these three fine women...

Karen Steele (Eve) was born in 1931 in Honolulu, Hawaii and died in 1988. That made her 35 when Mudd's Women was broadcast in 1966. From 1953 until 1972 she'd appeared in numberous films and television shows.

Maggie Thrett (Ruth) was actually born born Diane Pine in 1946. She was a  singer as well as stage, movie and television actress during the 1960s. She was 20 in Mudd's Women. Maggie retired from the entertainment business, stating she was fed up with unwanted sexual advances from producers. Who could blame them? (Just kidding). She later married and had three children.

Susan Denberg (Magda). Not much is known about Susan, except that she was born in Australia in 1944 and appeared in about four American television shows during the 1960s, including, of course, Mudd's Women. It seems she also appeared in Playboy Magazine in 1966, the year Mudd's Women was broadcast (see below).

Susan Denberg (Magda)
