Star Trek Babes - Season 2, Ep. 2: "Who Mourns for Adonais?"

Who Mourns for Adonais? originally aired on September 22, 1967. In the year 2267, the Enterprise crew encounter a huge, bright green hand in space that grabs onto the ship and won't let go. Capt. Kirk is forced to beam a landing party onto a planet along with this episode's "guest beauty", Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas, the crew's archaeologist. Once on the planet, in a setting resembling the ancient garden of Mount Olympus, they meet up with the person responsible for the green hand in space, a man who calls himself the god Apollo. Soon, Apollo sets his sights on Lt. Carolyn Palamas, deciding he wants her all to himself to do with her whatever he wishes. Essentially, his concubine.

Yeah, wouldn't we all love to have one of those.

Here with her archaeology and anthropology gadgets

God Apollo got her all dressed up...and no doubt plans to remove it later

Capt. Kirk to the rescue. Nobody screws my Enterprise women, buddy! Except me!

Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas falls down. Oops...

By the way, Uhura gets a new hairstyle in Season 2, as seen in this episode

Star Trek Babes - Season 2, Ep. 1: "Amok Time"

This is the famous "Spock gets Pon Farr" episode. What is Pon Farr, you ask? It's a disease every Vulcan gets once every 7 years. To put it quite mildly and simply, the disease makes the Vulcan so horny, if he or she doesn't have sex soon, the Vulcan will become insane and die.

Yes, I know, that's nothing new. It's something a lot of humans on Earth can relate to as well, but that's beside the point.

Oh, my. What man wouldn't want to have been around when some of the Enterprise's sexy female crewmembers got Pon Farr, such as when super hot Vulcan T'Pol got it in Star Trek: Enterprise, "Bounty", Season 2, Episode 25. Or when half human, half Klingon B'Elanna Torres got it (after being "infected" by a Vulcan) in Star Trek: Voyager, "Blood Fever", Season 3, Episode 16. But we still have a ways to go in this blog before we get to those episodes, so back to Spock.

In "Amok Time", Spock begins to show signs of "the madness" and demands Captain Kirk return him to the planet Vulcan, but he is too embarrassed to say why. Next thing we know he's looking at a picture of a little girl and we wonder...Whoa! What is this Vulcan perv thinking?

Fortunately, we soon learn that the little Vulcan girl in the picture is now a grown woman on planet Vulcan and who Spock was telepathically mated with when he was a boy and who he will some day marry. And have sex with so that Pon Farr doesn't kill him.

The "guest beauty" of this episode happens to be a Vulcan named T'Pring (the little girl all grown up). T'Pring is played by actress Arlene Martel.

Vulcans have 10 times the strength of humans. A honeymoon night with T'Pring could be very interesting.

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 30: "Operation: Annihilate!"

"Operation: Annihilate!" is the final episode of Season 1. Most sites show it as Episode 29, but I counted the pilot as Episode 1, making this one 30. A "guest beauty" appearing is a smoking hot Black model and part-time actress from the 1960s named Maurishka Taliaferro, who played the role of Yeoman Zahra. In Operation: Annihilate! the Enterprise crew investigate a planet where everyone is going crazy. They learn that a flying bug attacking people is causing the problem. ...Don't we have those problems now?

Yeoman Zahra, played by Maurishka Taliaferro, beams down with the landing party.
Nice shot of Yeoman Zahra.

Oh, why didn't we see a lot more of her? This was the only Star Trek episode in which she appeared.

Yeoman Zahra closing in on Spock.

Yeoman Zahra spoke a line just twice during the episode. This was the first one.

Amazing eyes looking up into your eyes while you're standing there. Uhh, reminds me of...certain experiences.

Yeoman Zahra was all over this episode, even when trying to restrain a crazed Spock after he was infected by a creature.

For you  Nurse Chapel fans, shes returns in this episode.

This was her only other speaking scene..."Captain, look. Mr. Spock."

More about Maurishka Taliaferro...
Not a whole lot of information about Maurishka Taliaferro can be found. She was a model during the 1960s known simply as "Maurishka". One online record shows her born in 1941. Maurishka had just a few appearances in film in television. She appeared alongside Elvis Presley in his 1968 film "Stay Away, Joe". Amazon lists a book of poetry called "Knowing Is a Sometime Friend" by Maurishka Taliaferro, first published in 1972, with illustrations by water color artist Monica Allen. I don't have confirmation that it's the same person, but with that name what are the chances it isn't? Another site shows Maurishka Taliaferro, who is now 75, residing in California. That listing has her name reversed (Taliaferro Maurishka).

Star Trek Babes - Season 1, Ep. 29: "The City on the Edge of Forever"

This episode first aired on Thursday, April 6, 1967...AND a MAJOR HOTTIE appears in this episode, people. None other than the beautiful Joan Collins herself. How hot was Joan? Check out the 1975 movie "Alfie Darling" where she appeared nude at age 42, and appeared in a Playboy Magazine spread in 1983 at age 50!

In "The City on the Edge of Forever" the USS Enterprise ends up traveling back in time about 200 years to the 1930s period in New York City. Spock lends a hand trying to repair a mess made by altering history, which led to the USS Enterprise in the future NEVER EXISTING! Capt. Kirk meets a woman named Edith Keeler (Joan Collins), who runs a Great Depression era soup kitchen and, of course, they fall in love.

An unnamed crew member seems to enjoy having Sulu on her lap. She looks a little like Yeoman Tamura played by Miko Mayama; the hottie who appeared in Season 1, Ep. 24: "A Taste of Armageddon", but I don't think it's her.
Age 34 at the time Joan Collins appeared in "The City on the Edge of Forever". Very easy on the eyes, I know.
Here in the role of Edith Keeler, she has her eyes on the new stranger in town.

Unfortunately, not a lot of skin shots of Joan Collins in this episode. Hey, it was suppposedly the 1930s. Not much flashing of T&A back then, but from this scene we get an idea of that rear side view.
Ahh, There's some skin. Joan in her younger years. Legs that go on forever.

And in her later years...
